I love Maker's Market Store because they’ve provided so many unique artisans a place to express themselves and sell the unique items they make. I’ve been able to help a charity called Carion Fenn Foundation. They help individuals dealing with chiari malformation, syringomyelia, rare diseases and mental health. September was Chiari and Syringomyelia awareness month, which gave me a platform to raise awareness and fund raise for a really vulnerable community in trying times. I first found my love of philanthropy efforts through a friend who runs a charity called Uplifting Blessings for individuals experiencing homelessness. She owns a charity and a business of her own, so she’s helped me see you can become successful while still giving back. Thank you to the wonderful team of people that make this place so amazingly special and to the customers who support small businesses.
